Monday, for some, is the worst day of the week. Geldof, for example. But tonight, thankfully, you're not him. Which means you don't have to dwell on your appalling back-catalogue and you can go out and have fun.

2 Days in Paris (Film)

Uránia, 25th August
18:30
Rákóczi út 21 [map]
Pest, VIII, Astoria (M 2), 5 min

Julie Delpy is much more than a pretty face - not only did she write, direct, edit, co-produce and star in this new comedy, she also did Adam Goldberg's hair and fetched the croissants in the morning (citation needed). It's very likeable, in English and French, with subtitles where necessary. Reviews here.

Take a chance on...

Garage Monday (Concert)
Filter, 25th August, 20:00
The weather is changing but today's glorious. A smoky club? Garage bands? Is that the best way to bid farewell to the summer? (Well, there's not much else happening).

Into the Wild (Film)
Művész, 25th August, 17:30
Sean Penn falls in love with his young protagonist, who in turn falls in love with nature. It's like Grizzly Man without the Grizzlies. Reviews here.
