'Go out on Tuesday with your friends, when you have a paper due Wednesday!' Strange advice from irresponsible Dad-rocker Tom Petty...perhaps it's a desperate attempt to prove he's still down wiv da kidz....

Cheap Cinema Day (Film)

Palace Cinemas, 3rd September, 890ft

I've always found Ewan McGregor about as sexy as Postman Pat, so he seems a bit of an odd choice to star in this new erotic thriller. Cheap tickets at Palace today though, so if you are feeling a bit lonely, or just miss the movies of Shannon Tweed, then it's the best day for it. Other guff not worth paying full price for includes You Don't Mess With the Zohan, Kung Fu Panda and The Bank Job. On the other hand, you could always go and see something good.
