Take a chance on...
After the End (Theatre)Merlin theatre, 29th Sept; 1st, 2nd Oct; 1500 - 2000ft
Gerlóczy u.4 [map]
Pest Centre, V, Deak tér (M 1,2,3), 4 min
A pretty rare chance to see English theatre in Budapest, which got a good write up in the UK's Time Out. 'Quirky and ballsy', After the End is 'a neat black comedy and psychological thriller that gathers potency the longer it lingers in the mind.' Tickets here, and it's on for the next three nights if you're busy/it's raining.

Instant (New Bar/Kert)
Nagymező utca 38, Budapest VI district
Look, there's really not much on today, so you might as well check out the newest bar/kert aimed at the city's yoof. It looks like a lot of other places, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. A very odd time of year to open, mind. Brrrrr.
Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D (Film)
Palace Westend, 29th September, 11:15, 13:15 and every 2 hours till bedtime.
Without a shadow of a doubt, JTTCOTE3D is a staggering work that thehub is strongly tipping for oscar glory come March. Brendan Fraser gives the performance of his, or anybody's life, and there are enough dinosaurs to keep everybody happy. I can't wait to hear the best supporting dinosaur's acceptance speech!
