The Duchess (Film)

Corvin, 2nd February, 10:00, 14:15, 18:45
Corvin köz 1
Keira Knightley. All the girls seem to hate her and all the guys can't help but ogle over her. Love her or hate her, she more often than not gets typecast into these elegant woman-gone-badgirl roles, presumably because she's good at them. Once again though, that depends on who you're speaking to.

Take a stroll into the days of the 18th century Whig Party with the "it" girl of the time,
Georgiana Spencer (Knightley). She's a boozer, gambler, looker, and a woman of power, yet all her husband seems to want her for is a male heir.

Also worth a shot...
Ernő Weszely (Concert)
MUPA, 2nd February, 20:00-22:00, 1900-3900Ft
A Hungarian Stevie Wonder? Blind since the age of 10, Weszely's releasing his first CD tonight, surely a triumph in and of itself. Check him in action here. Official info here.

Kingdom (Concert)
Dürer Kert, 2nd February
Brotherhood! Unity! Togetherness! Gang vocals! Don't eat animal products! It all lies within the hardcore stylings of USA tough guys, Kingdom. Also ready to break faces tonight are xBishopx, and Hungary's own Motivation.

Towelhead (Film)
Művész, 2nd February, 16:30
Know what it's like to be a half Lebanese, half American pubescent girl, trying to grow up in first Gulf War-era Texas? It's hard, really, really hard. Mixed reviews here.
