"Rest. What is rest exactly? According to my twenty year old Webster's Dictionary, there are about eighteen different definitions for the word rest." Wise words over on hubpages - nothing to do with us. We don't believe in rest; we believe in...

WAMP Art Market (Market)

Gödör, 8th March, 10:00-18:00, free

WAMP is a once-monthly Hungarian design market that livens up Deak tér with music, children's activities, and most importantly around 100 designers peddling original trinkets, art, clothing, jewelry, and much much more.

The weather is seemingly getting better, and once it's warm enough, WAMP will be taken outdoors, so be on your toes. It's a good place to spend a Sunday morning, browsing for cheap original art, especially during these dire economic times, all the while sipping on a "bit of the hair of the dog that bit you."

Dialektus Film Fesztivál (Films)
Vörösmarty Mozi [map], from 10:00, 8th March
This is the last day of the festival and consequently your last chance to catch eye-opening documentaries (and less notably, anthropological films) from filmmakers around the continent. For more information check out the official website and program here.

Sunday Session - Featuring: Cadik (Concert)
Gödör, 8th March, 21:00, Free
"All the way from Detroit to Budapest," Cadik's spittin some pretty insane rhymes. The fact that there are less carriers of guns in Europe than America might be the reason these guys have more of a feel-good vibe. I think I heard something about bringin' your George Foreman overseas and "gettin' the fuck outta Michigan." They've got my stamp of approval.

Progressive DürERA (Club)
Dürer Kert, 8th March, 20:30
Here's what you can expect from DJane Era. Not sure how progressive it is, but hey, it's Sunday. Sure Dürer might be a bit of a hike, it being all the way out by City Park, but it's well worth the trolley-bus ride. More info here.

Flea Market (Flea Market)
Bolhapiac, City Park, 8th March, morning only, 120Ft.
Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without rummaging through a load of rubbish. Old nudie magazines, used underwear, written-on postcards, stolen mobile phones, hey maybe you can even pick up some pre-war cigarette butts! Be sure to get there early to get dibs on the best crap! Hub article here.
