Electric Pig says: "Is the Nikon D400, Nikon’s eagerly awaited DSLR, coming sooner than we think? Previous hints had pegged a Summer release on the D400 but Nikon’s just announced a mysterious press event for April 14th in Austria!" Fuck, that's exciting! Or maybe you'd rather try...

Les Krapos (Concert)Sirály, 21:00, 14th April
There's a theory that if the French only had some musical nouse, they could have conquered the world. But instead they opted for a good time, which involved drinking wine, dancing around like loons and doing covers of awful Britney Spears songs.
That's what tonight is. Approximately five hundred people blow horns of various descriptions to a million tunes that you know or think you know, or they think they know.
Myspace here.

Or how about...?
Irie Maffia Soundsystem (Club)
Corvinteto
Well, Barabás Lorinc and Dagadu Sena have little to do with tonight's proceedings but Columbo, Juno and Dermot are in the house, plying their DJ trade. Myspace here. If you don't fancy it, the roof's open now, so you can sit in the glorified carpark above the city until the sun comes up.
Starsky és Hát Jazz Klub: Zsuffa Péter (Concert)
Szimpla Kávézó [map], free
Not to be confused with Szimpla Kert, the more laid back Szimpla Kávézó hosts a series of mellow jazz nights in the cellar downstairs. Low key, free, worth checking out, if only for the atmosphere... and the beer's cheaper too.
Rekontra (Concert)
Pótkulcs 21:00, free
What can we say about Rekontra that we haven't said before? Nothing, so we'll say it again: they breathe more life into traditional Hungarian folk music than you might think possible. The cimbalom is king! Listen here.
