The part-Hungarian poet laureate of rock 'n' roll is 68 today! "The voice of the promise of the '60s counterculture. The guy who forced folk into bed with rock, who donned makeup in the '70s and disappeared into a haze of substance abuse, who emerged to find Jesus, who was written off as a has-been by the end of the '80s, and who suddenly shifted gears and released some of the strongest music of his career beginning in the late '90s." Yes, it's Bob Dylan's birthday!
What do you mean "Bob Dylan is not part-Hungarian?" Well who's this then?

Requiem for a Dream (Film)
Örökmozgó, 20:30, 24th MayErzsébet krt. 39 [map]
Pest Centre, VII, Király utca (T4/6), 3 min
Requiem for a dream is Darren Aronofsky's beatiful-looking film about beautiful-looking drug addicts injecting smack into their beautiful-looking arms. It's intense and powerful, and a far cry from the film he made next, which unfortunately, was complete and utter bobbins.

Zöld Pardon [map]
It's Judge Day at Zöld Pardon. Not Judgement Day, no, this is Hungarian reggae. It might be gibberish but it's pretty hard to mess reggae up and besides, there's not much competition today.
Progressive DürERA (Club)
Dürer Kert, 22:00, free
Here's what you can expect from DJane Era. Not sure how progressive it is, but hey, it's Sunday. Sure Dürer might be all the way out by City Park, but it's only a trolley-bus ride away. More info here.
Long Tall Sonny (Concert)
Szimpla Kert, free, but beer now costs 550Ft!
Long Tall Sonny & His Wild Cows are straight out of the 1950s, with no compromises. Rockabilly proof here.

Flea Market (Flea Market)
Bolhapiac, City Park, morning only, 120Ft.
Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without rummaging through a load of rubbish, especially now that the weather is beautiful. Old nudie magazines, used underwear, written-on postcards, stolen mobile phones, hey maybe you can even pick up some pre-war cigarette butts! Be sure to get there early to get dibs on the best crap! Hub article here.
