The weekend in Budapest starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. So for the first day of the weekend, you'd better find yourself something to do...

Horse The Band (Concert)

Dürer Kert, 4th June, 20:00, 1800/2300Ft
Ajtósi Dürer sor 19–21 [map]
Zichy Geza utca, (Trolley 74)

If old Nintendo-esque 16-bit synthesizers mixed with hardcore/metal raises your eyebrow, then Horse The Band (USA) is the show you should be at tonight. They played in Budapest not too long ago, so the kids are certain to be out tonight.

Also on the bill is Ghost of Shelter, Unsent Letters, and Duna.
Don't forget your old NES controller to swing in the air, or to dress up like your favorite Mario Brother.

Steven Soderbergh will have an increased presence over the next week or so at Örökmozgo starting off with this 2000 hit that won a grip of Academy Awards. What happens to drugs as seen through the eyes of the hands they change in.

Nafta'Z (Concert)
CD-FU Kultúrpince, 21:00, 300Ft.
A fairly pleasant mixing of Hungarian hip-hop and pretty smooth reggae with plenty of sax thrown in for maximum crowd pleasure. Check it here.
