EtnoGödör (Concert)

Gödör 3rd August 20.00, free

Ukrainian folkies Técsői Banda bring traditional Russian music to Gödör. The band have played regularly at weddings, funerals and on the festival of sheep clipping so should prove interesting...

They are joined by the more experimental World folk flautists Tűz Lángja, who believe that "every road leads to Moldova!!!". Myspace site here

Take a chance on...

PASO (Concert)
Zöld Pardon, 20:00
Pannonia - cheese, telephones, and ska, only one of which will be up on stage at A38 tonight. PASO have been around for a while and play uncomplicated, good-time ska - nothing really to write home about, but a lot of fun if you're in the mood. Myspace

Public Enemies (Film)
Puskin, 18.45, 20.45
Epic bio-pic of arguably the most notorious of all the 1930s American bank-robbers, John Dillinger. Directed by Michael Mann and starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, generally well received by the critics. Trailer and reviews here.

Battle of the High Schools

Rocktogon Pub & Roll [map]
Presumably this is a battle between High School Bands. Or it could be a fight between various groups of children. Go along and find out...
