Fővárosi Állat - És Növénykert (Concert)

Budapest Zoo, 5th August 20:30
Állatkerti krt. 6-12 [map]
Pest, XIV, Széchenyi fürdő, (M1) 5 min
A concert at the zoo....

As well as musical animals (probably) the star attraction is Zoltán Orosz. Zoltán has been playing the accordian since he was just 4 years old, so should be pretty darn good by now. He has won the Hungarian International Accordian Competition 3 times in the
last few years which is obviously a recommendation in itself. More here

Please note meerkats cannot be guaranteed.

Also worth a gander...

Battle of the High Schools
Rocktogon Pub & Roll, [map],
The battle between the high school bands is ongoing... Either that or they are still bashing eachothers' heads in. Entertaining either way.

The Proposition (Film)
Művész [map] 17:15
An Australian western with a script by none other than Nick Cave. Made in 2005, starring Ray Winstone, Danny Huston and Guy Pearce, it's brooding and violent. Take a sofa with you - you'll need it to hide behind. Reviews here.

Salsaparti
Placc [map]
Salsa night at the recently opened kert featuring DJ Adalberto. More info on the Hungarian superstar DJ here
