11th August, from 12:00
Óbudai Island [map]
This year's Sziget Festival kicks off with a special Anti-Racism Day, initiated and sponsored by the British Embassy. Whilst the basic format remains as previous Day Zeros, with Hungarian bands getting the opportunity to showcase during the daytime on the Main Stage, the line-up this year promises to be a step up. In the evening, there will be further special collaborations from British musicians, including a shared set between members of Babyshambles and Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly. Meanwhile, on the World Music Stage, the daytime will showcase some of the best Hungarian jazz musicians and the evening promises a 3-hour Miles Davis tribute concert, combining former band-mates of the great jazz legend with some of the best Indian jazz musicians.

Hey there churchies, here's your chance to head out to "the ditch" in all its Glory and check out a heartwarming, God-fearing soft rock singer-songwriter. What if God was one of us? They tried that and they crucified the guy. Poor bugger. Yeah!
