Another pleasant surprise as one of the great blues rock guitarists of all times pops up on a quiet Monday night in the park by the bus station. Johnny Winter has been playing blues for more than 40 years and has remained an icon throughout that time. One of the view performers from the Woodstock Festival to still be performing, Now aged 63, Winter has been through all the ups and downs that were common for those of his era and many since. He has worked with most of the rock and blues greats from the 60s to the present day, surviving substance addictions and all the hazards which cut short the careers of many of his contemporaries. After all that, his music remains as amazing as it was in the 60s. If you can stretch your budget to 6,000ft, don't miss the opportunity to see and hear one of the true greats.
