Takáts Eszter (Concert)
Fövárosi Müvelödési Ház, 26 November, 20:00, 1900Ft

Fehérvári út 47 [map] Buda XI, Fővárosi Művelődési Ház (T41/47/18)
The unbelievably adorable Takáts Eszter is bound to impress tonight! She is a singer-songwriter with a Hungarian twist through and through with influences such as Joni Mitchell, Pablo Piccasso, and Virginia Woolf. She describes her song writing as part of her instinct and vital to her being and starting writing at 15. She has won the Street Music Festival Award here in Budapest and has been collaborating with her band for the last four years. And they have really perfected her acoustic sound and folksy sound. Eszter's beautiful songs are going to weave together a wonderful concert tonight and is definitely worth checking out!

Also worth a gander...
Millennium Hippies (Concert)
Café Miró Grande [map], Free
The Millennium Hippies are nothing if not eccentric and they have recently recruited a new drummer who is a "real badass drum humper". Their music didn't give me a spiritual erection, but I haven't seen them live yet.... They are a jazzier version of Sublime so, if you are into that, they are worth checking out.
Cornelio Tutu Band (Concert)
Ypsilon Café [map], 20:00
The Hungarian born and bred jazz band is playing again tonight. If you haven't already seen Cornelio Tutu at one of their many shows around the city why not head out to listen to some relaxing jazz to prepare for the upcoming weekend.
Harmonia Garden (Concert)
Columbus Jazzklub [map], 20:00, 800Ft
Though they've only been together since this January Harmonia Garden has quite a lofty goal of conquering the world's great music stages. If you are looking for something a bit more traditional have a look at their MySpace then let these professionals treat you to tunes from Hungary, France, Russia and all over the Balkans.
