Waterboys (Film)
.
Örökmozgó, 18:30, 27th Feb, free
Erzsébet krt. 39 [map]
Pest Centre, VII, Király utca (T4/6), 3 min

Wow! Look at those guys! This Japanese film doesn't look wonderful but it is free. And some of the best things in life are Japanese. Boys meet water, apparently, with English subtitles...

Special Providence/Lux Nigra (Concert)

Gödör, 27th Feb, 21.00, 600 ft

Gödör's Wednesdays are full of jazz. Free jazz, nujazz, trad jazz, jazz cigarettes, jazz mags. Jazz man. Special Providence are a fusion band from the Liszt Ferenc stable, of unknown jazz pedigree. They're good with their hands. Jazz hands.

Magyarpalatkai Banda (Concert/Táncház)

Fonó, 27th Feb, 20:00, 800ft
Sztregova utca Kalotaszeg u.
Magyarpalatkai Banda get in a minibus once a month and travel from Palatka, Transylvania, to play at the Fonó Tanchaz. The concert starts at 8pm, but if you arrive at 6pm, you can learn the steps too. It's mainly couple dancing, sometimes featuring hanky-waving, always featuring lots of dizzying spinning round in tight circles.

Wim Delvoye (Exhibition
)

Ernst Múzeum, until 23rd March
11:00 - 19:00

Nagymező utca 8 [map]
Pest Centre, Vi, Opera (M1), 2 min
Tel. 341-4355
Wim Delvoye used to make a load of crap. It's true. In fact he's as controversial as conceptual artists come, from tattoed pigs to radioactive sex in the form of stained glass windows. What's taboo? What's functional? What's sacred? Who knows?
