Hungarian hip-hop might not have the world renown it deserves(?) but a few of the real contenders will be west-side of the Danube tonight. Suppah & Wherdee, Hősök, Pixa, Artoscsaba, Fankadeli, Qka MC and MC Gőz will all be kicking it. But where's Speak? ________________________________

Tonight, Parno Graszt fit the music from a small village in the North East of Hungary onto one stage, but not before Nomada percussionist, Tibor Balogh, swaps his sticks for a guitar and leads Pujara, out on the terrace.

Corvintető, 5th June
Corvin Áruház, Blaha Lujza tér 1-2 [map]
Pest Centre, VIII, Blaha Lujza tér (M2, T4/6), 1 min
Not wanting to lose out to more recently opened kerts, Corvintető pretends that it too has only just opened with an incongruous bill featuring Zagar and the Gimmeshot Crew. Are they actually going to play on the roof? Who do they think they are? The Beatles?
________________________________Tűzraktér opens with the Morrocan grooves of Chalaban, whose funky afro-beat fusion seems take in anything from Fela Kuti to Sly and the Family Stone, before drifting off across the Sahara into something altogether more traditional. DJ Curtis follows, whoever he is.
