The weekend in Budapest starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. So for the first day of the weekend, you'd better find yourself something to do...

Half Nelson (Film)

Művész, 15.45, 17.45, 20.00, 22.00
Teréz körút 30 [map]
Pest, VI, Teréz körút T4/6), 1 min

Potentially schmaltzy and cliched drama, that just about gets away with it. Honestly, there's bugger all on at the cinema here, and this two-year-old film about a high school teacher is the probably the most interesting thing that's been released (in English) for quite some time. Much more of this, and I'll be off to watch Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D. (Half Nelson reviews here).
