Cool Kids of Death (Concert)
Corvintető, 27th September
Corvin Áruház, Blaha Lujza tér 1-2 [map]
Pest Centre, VIII, Blaha Lujza tér (M2, T4/6), 1 min
The name reeks of a translation gone wrong (although it isn't), but Cool Kids of Death's brand of "Generation Nothing" alt rock might actually be worth a gander live. Think pissed off megaphone vocals alongside a fuzzy bass groove that's at the very least danceworthy. Poland's CKoD appearance in Budapest marks the second day of the RegiON Festival at Corvintető along with Gonzo, The Trousers, Overflow and Vrooom. Some myspaces here and there.

Krafty Kuts (Concert), A38 [map], 27th September, 22:00, 3000Ft
A38 promises this will be a night of "incrazed dance madness" from Britain's breakbeater, Krafty Kuts. Also on the bill: Bergi (MonkeySix), Marka (AllNightBreakz, Tilos Rádió), Vida L & Vida G (AllNightBreakz).

The Strangers (Film), Palace Cinemas, 27th September
Ordeal Horror is a new-ish sub-genre, it would seem... stick two beautiful people in a house, and watch them get terrorised for 80 minutes. There's not much to this particular effort, but at least it isn't you. Course, with all films at Palace costing just 490 ft, you could always see something decent.

Alfred Brendel's Farewell (Concert), MUPA [map], 27th September, 19:45, 3200 - 6000Ft
This not so secret last Hungarian concert for Brendel will feature Mozart's Piano Concerto in C minor. In keeping with the theme of the concert series, the rest of the program is a mystery.
