Also worth a gander...
Southern Slav Táncház
Fővárosi Művelődési Ház [map] 29th October, 19:00, 600Ft
Budapest is, without a doubt, táncház capital of the world. Following dancing nights from the Hungarians, Csangos, Moldovans, Greeks and the Irish, the Southern Slavs were starting to feel a bit left out. Not anymore. "But what's the difference?", you might ask. What, between Irish and Southern Slav? Don't ask such stupid questions. But since you asked: 100Ft. Location and other táncházak here.
Eichinger Quartet (Concert)
Artkatakomba [map] 29th October, 21:00, 500ft
Contemporary jazz underground, with Brazilian and Balkan influences, not forgetting "grotesque paraphrases of dance music." Myspace here.
Queen Party (Club)
Rock Randevu, 29th October, 19.00, free
Rock Randevu welcome Queen to Budapest with the Queen Unplugged Project... wait a minute, that was Monday wasn't it? Ok, so it looks like they're doing it again. Another chance to see the ghost of Freddie, looking ever-so-slightly worse for wear than you'd expect.
