That's Aqua Sky rather than Aqu-ascii. Breaks, fidget, bassline and drum 'n' bass all find their place. Ok, so I've heard of two of them and bassline sounds plausible but fidget? Check it out here.

Balkan Beats (Concert)

Always a good time, never quite the same, this month's Balkan party brings in rootsy-but-not-retro and quite poppy Deladap. A Central European mish-mash of musicians is led by Czech producer Stani Vana, with two Czech-Roma singers. Preview the new album here. The erstwhile Romano Drom also appear as do Czech, Austrian and French DJs. There's never a better time to be down in "the ditch."
