March 23, 1939 (Concert)

Academy of Music, 23rd March, 19:30, 1500-6500Ft
Liszt Ferenc tér 8

An interesting concept for a classical concert: a repeat of
Zoltán Székely's 1939 premiere of Bartók’s Violin Concerto #2. Sandwiched between Beethoven's Egmont overture and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, the programme is identical to the performance in Amsterdam 70 years ago.

Hungarian troops, meanwhile, marched on Slovakia.

Thelma & Louise (Film)

Take your shoes off and don't fear, bring that electro over here; Papa & Hudak will be your DJs tonight.
