Roots reggae legend, Horace Andy broke into contemporary music in the nineties with several Massive Attack collaborations, including the fantastic Angel on 1998's Mezzanine. Now he's in town with producer Ashley Beedle, on the back of a new album: Inspiration Information. Among other things, it includes a cover of The Rolling Stones' Angie. The BBC like it anyway - review here; a couple of samples here.

England (Theatre)
Polish Institute, 20:00, 2000Ft / 1500Ft students
If you've got 60 minutes and 2000 forint to spare, get a piece of England in the Polish institute. It's "a tour through space and across borders: from an art gallery to a jam factory, from Edinburgh to Osaka, from a hospital bed to a hotel room. It’s a tour to the end of the world." More here.
Futurspektiv (Festival)
Academy of Music [map], 19.30, no indication of prices anywhere
The Collegium Vocale Gent open the Futurspektiv festival of "New Flemish Masters", which has a fantastically annoying website. It's all Brockes Passion Oratorio Libretto tonight, and if that doesn't mean anything to you, you must be about as cultured as me.
Swing Manouche (Concert)
Pótkulcs [map], 21:00, 29th January, free
Manouche, manouche, can you do Jean Django? That's exactly what Swing Manouche do - video here.
