Sisters of Mercy (Concert)

A38, 27th April, 21:00, 5000Ft adv. / 5900Ft door
Petőfi hid [map]
Buda, XI, Petőfi híd (Budai hídfő) (T4/6), 2 min

The Sisters of Mercy? Again? Didn't they play on the 4th? Nope, actually, the one remaining Sister of Mercy, Andrew Eldritch had the squits last time, so it had to be postponed.

As the singer and songwriter, he's the most important part of the machine, apart from
Doktor Avalanche, who never ever gets the squits.

Full details here. Recent Sister footage here.

Take a chance on...

Kylie Minoise (Concert)
Cökxpôn, 500Ft
Kylie Minoise is a a diminutive pop singer from Australia. No? No. Kylie Minoise is a slobbering one-man aural hara-kari from Glasgow. Arrrgghhh, bjjjjjjzzzzz, sssssssssss, baaaaaaahhh! Joined by fellow noise wizards too numerous to mention.

Vukán - 60 years on stage
(Concert)
MUPA [map], 19:30, 3900 - 6900Ft
"A supreme artist who has deserved the undoubted presence of God in his creations, as well as the infinite love and respect of people” said András Ligeti of pianist and composer, György Vukán. Probably quite good then. Website here. Full details here.

The Reader (Film)
Művész [map] 15:15, 17:30, 19:45, 22:00
Yes, it's another Holocaust film. "Plodding and earnestly morose" or "majestically sombre and always gripping"? You decide. Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes star. Reviews here.
