Celebrate the 3288th anniversary of the coronation of the first Hungarian pharaoh, Ramesses II! What do you mean "Ramesses II was not part-Hungarian and they don't crown pharaohs anyway?"
Well who's this then?

Judafest (Festival)Kazinczy utca, 31st May, 10:00 - late, free
Kazinczy utca [map]
Pest Centre, VII, Astoria (M2), 5 min
Yes, the Jewish street festival takes over Kazinczy utca, not Kazinsky utca as your friends call it. It's the one with Szimpla on it. Wander around to the sounds of Klezmer music and tribal drums, while taking in the sights and feasting on Jewish specialities.
Some might find it all a little overwhelming: "There are like little Rabbis on the cake and it's like the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life."

Soul & Gospel Festival (Concert)

Far be it from us to suggest that you spend your Sunday in a fucking shopping centre but you can fill up on Soul and Gospel at zero cost. God saw that it was good and he went into Office Shoes to buy a new pair of trainers. More info here.
National Gallop (Horses)
Hősök tere [map], free
Where's your national pride? Rise up, Magyar, and watch the horses tear around Hősök tere like they did in days of old. This 'traditional' event started last year. Official site here.
Bolhapiac, City Park, morning only, 120Ft.
Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without rummaging through a load of rubbish, especially now that the weather is beautiful. Old nudie magazines, used underwear, written-on postcards, stolen mobile phones, hey maybe you can even pick up some pre-war cigarette butts! Be sure to get there early to get dibs on the best crap! Hub article here.
