If you follow this link, it may look a little bit like a zombie flick but it is, in fact, a bunch of weirded out ravers digging Goa Gil's psy-trance at last year's hill-fest. Come on, you've never been to a proper hippy rave under a giant spider's web, have you?
Goa Gil was taking acid while you were still a pip in the psychedelic pixie's mind grapes. And so was his wife, Ariane.
Also worth knowing about...
Summer On The Chain Bridge (Festival)
Lánchíd [map], from 11:00, free
It's Folk day on each side of the Danube. There's a flute quartet early on but the folk music proper kicks off on the Buda side at 16:00 with the Rajkó Orchestra. If you want to see everyone, you're going to have to cross over every half an hour, like some demented duck. Full programme here.
Cimbaliband / Bivaly Zenekar (Concert)
Kobuci kert [map] Óbuda, free
If you didn't get enough folk music on Lánchid, you can pick it up again at Kobuci kert. But where the hell's that? Here. Cimbaliband play their second set in one day, while Bivaly will get you leaping, slapping and twirling... like some demented duck.
EtnoGödör (Concert)
Gödör [map], 20.00, free
World Music with flutes from Hetedhét ("Beyond Borders") and Balkan speed-accordian from Marosi Zoltán as Harmonicum will wizz around your head... like... some... demented... duck.
