Prolific alt-rockers Shell Beach head for the river with their second live performance in 5 days, this time on the A38 roof terrace. One of Hungary's more successful Green Day wannabes have been around for 5 years and, like them, are happy to concentrate on entertaining live audiences.

Also worth a gander...

Random Art Szerda (Club)
Dürer Kert, free
It's Wednesday, what can you expect? Well a "random art Wednesday" of course.
Barabás Lorinc is here in two guises, first with his messed-up experimental jazz-hippy-dub-hop band, Eklektric ,and then with his reggae/hip-hop/dancehall project, Irie Maffia. Hairy rockers Turbo add some variety to the bill, together with The Qualitons and their cheesy green onions.

JazzGödör (Concert)
Gödör, 20.00, free
It's Wednesday night. Let the jazz cats out of the bag and give them to a good home: Gödör. Tonight, Kind Off Beat and Pop Iván will fill your ears with the sound equivalent of melted chocolate and it won't cost you a jelly bean.

Public Enemies (Film)
Puskin, 18.45, 20.45
Epic bio-pic of arguably the most notorious of all the 1930s American bank-robbers, John Dillinger. Directed by Michael Mann and starring Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, generally well received by the critics. Trailer and reviews here.
