21/08/09

It's Friday and the long weekend continues... On this day in 1986, the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt was born in a little cottage in Sighisoara, Transylvania. 9.58 seconds later, he was gone.

Grand Hotel Budapest (Concert)

Gödör, 3rd August 20.00, free

OK, this is where it gets a bit confusing.
This is not a large building full of bedrooms appearing at Budapest's favourite hole-in-the-ground. It is in fact an alternative jazz-rock band, comprising four musicians and no bedrooms at all. Support comes from Angelika és a Guess, who also play modern jazz-pop and the DJ is Keve Miki, neither of whom will be bringing any bedrooms with them, as far as we are aware.
