International Jimi Hendrix Festival 2009 (Concert)

Jimi Hendrix died 39 years ago last month,and this is the 3rd annual international festival. This year 6 bands perform with varying degrees of devotion to their idol.

René Lacko Downtown Band provide a good start to the,guitar fest, Electric Jimiland are a straightforward tribute group, and Jack Cannon Blues Band keep things hungarian. Póka Egon és az Experience, Kárászi Szilvia and, of course, Jimi Hendrix Memorial Band also appear.

Yet another festival, this time boasting 12 different bands and artists. Some interesting band names here, including The Snobs, Crippled Fox, New Dead Project, and Grow Up Fuck It Up. Expect punk.

A childishly funny name at Spare Key bar too. It probably means something very deep to someone but still. A mixture of styles here, genuinely so for a change. Have a listen here.
