Armenian accordion player, David Yengibarjan, gets on rather well with Hungarian jazz musicians, as he should, this is jazz night at "the ditch" after all. He's moved on up the ranks from playing coffeehouses, to be featured here, so he must be doing something right.
It'll be interesting to see how Armenian, Jewish and Balkan melodies fit in with Hungarian folk and jazz improv. And hey, it's free.

Also worth a gander...
Vicky Cristina Barcelona (Film)
Puskin, 28th January, 16:45
"Spanish, lesbianism, threesome". If that doesn't grab your attention, I'm not sure what will. Regardless, this is Woody Allen's latest film, which happily has great reviews all round. Something of a renaissance for the funny little man. Reviews here.
Ringworm (Concert)
Dürer Kert, 28th January, 20:30
From the toxic-laden shores of Lake Erie in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, Ringworm play predictable, by the numbers hardcore/metal. What would you expect from Victory Records, a label not so dissimilar from themes in 1984? Victory Cigarettes, Victory Gin, Victory Records, it's all the same garbage. More info here.
Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band (Concert)
Cökxpôn, 28th January, 500Ft
With their Oláh gipsy/latin/balkan combination, these guys are undeniably fun - just check out "My dog's leg hurts" for proof. The last album was called "Folklore beats you up" but don't fight it, feel it.
