The Trousers, (Concert)

Gödör, 2nd May, from 22:00, free

This might sound like a strange combination and it is but if you're in a schizophrenic mood, it won't cost you a penny. Trousers frontman, Zoltán Kováry is somewhere between Noddy Holder, Liam Gallagher and Gaz Coombes, while Paganza, who is supporting, offers up guttural gypsy folk-punk.

To get all you epileptics into a fit, DJOnOff will be spinning the records and flicking the lights incessantly.

Also worth knowing about...

Control (Film)
LUMU, 14:30
She's lost Control again. She's lost Control. Coinciding with photographer turned director, Anton Corbijn's exhibition currently on at LUMU, here's the film depicting the tumultuous emotional and personal life of Ian Curtis. Spot on and visually stunning to boot, although his wife didn't think so.

Anton Corbijn - No Still Life (Film)

LUMU, 17:00
In keeping with all things Corbijn, why not check out this documentary about his life and work after getting totally depressed at the Control screening? Read more here.

Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band (Concert)
Cökxpôn, 800Ft
With their Oláh gipsy/latin/balkan combination, these guys are undeniably fun - just check out "My dog's leg hurts" for proof. The last album was called "Folklore beats you up" but don't fight it, feel it.

Cinetrip (Pool Party)
Rudas Baths, 21:00, 5000Ft (available in advance from Merlin), 6000Ft (limited quantities at the door)
Either turn your music up very loud and invite your friends to bring some torches into the bathroom, or head down to Rudas for the large-scale version. This might just be the best way to cure your hangover, either that or keep it going. Don't forget your towel and mandatory flip-flops. Details here.
