Today's Mother's Day in Hungary. Not Hungarian? Be glad you've got another week to remember to call your mom or send her a kiss or something, if you even still love her. If you're lucky enough to be in the category of "mother," celebrate the fact that you've squeezed a human life from the crevice between your legs at one of these...

The Reader (Film)
Puskin, 3rd May, 13:30, 15:45, 18:00, 20:15
Kossuth Lajos utca 18 [map]
Pest, V, Astoria (M2), 1 min

Yes, it's another Holocaust film, but with loads of Kate Winslet boob shots, and I mean loads, like at least 10 or something. Ralph Fiennes plays her lover, and, you guessed it, he reads to her, in turn she bathes him.

It's a case of cradle-robbing gone awry. How was he supposed to know she worked for the SS? No worries though, none of this should spoil it for you.

Huniversum (Performance art/documentary)
Hősök tere, 16:00 - 18:00, Műcsarnok
"The Huns inspired fear throughout Europe," says Wikipedia. Well, there aren't any in Hungary. Actually, there will be at least one here today–a Hun shaman from Cologne will be doing his thing, whatever that is, in Heroes' Square. After, the party moves inside for the viewing of the documentary about all dem Huns down der in Germany. Further info here.

Milk (Film)

What? You got a problem with gay people? Well, Harvey Milk was gay! The first openly gay US politician, that is. Gus Van Sant's warm, evocative docu-drama captures the spirit of a man on a personal and political mission, and won two Oscars for its efforts. James Franco's sports a killer mustache to boot.

Flea Market (Flea Market)
Bolhapiac, City Park, morning only, 120Ft.
Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without rummaging through a load of rubbish, especially now that the weather is beautiful. Old nudie magazines, used underwear, written-on postcards, stolen mobile phones, hey maybe you can even pick up some pre-war cigarette butts! Be sure to get there early to get dibs on the best crap! Hub article here.

I Love You, Man (Film)
MOM Park [map],17:30, 19:45, 22:00
Dude's getting married, dude's got no dude friends, dude needs a best man, dude goes on the hunt for a hetero partner. "No homo, dude, no homo." Pretty happenin' reviews here.
